Kull leġġenda hi akkumpanjata b’mappa tal-post u b’noti ta’ natura storika. Il-ktieb jagħlaq b’għadd ta’ mistoqsijiet u suġġerimenti li jservu ta’ attività għat-tfal. Iż-żewġ verżjonijiet għandhom festa ta’ illustrazzjonijiet, issa bil-kulur, li l-artist irriċerka u ħadem b’reqqa kbira.
An oft reprinted but now recoloured Maltese edition – and an English version appearing for the first time – this book recounts five popular local legends of the Maltese islands. Each legend is accompanied by background history notes and a map to enable the children to locate the place. The book includes a closing activity section, and is profusely illustrated by an artist well known for his meticulous research.
* These legends first appeared separately in 1974 and won the trophy ‘Pinna tad-Deheb’ (Golden Pen) awarded by Klabb Kotba Maltin / Barclays Bank International.
